        Tuesday there was a press conference at a pop up location for NYCFC, NYCFC House in the meatpacking district. Nice space newly done and all went well. As for quotes, no bulletin board material at all. Bradley stating that he feels he is getting better as he gets older. Howard that all the big clubs packed his bags and threw him out the door, self effacing and untrue humor. Christian stating the last year has been a bit of a roller coaster. With his father being from Centereach I am certain I must have played against or more likely officiated at least one of his games?

Now on the strength  a streak of 3 straight blank sheets by backstop Bill Hamid who once again has achived 3 in a row, DC prevailed 1-0. Luciano Acosta accounted for the lone goal, his 5th of this season bringing his club to a perfect 8-0 when he does find the back of the net. Stieber had his the first start of his time in MLS.  Kofi Opare achived 20 games in a season for the first time ever. Former NYRB and all around good guy, Lloyd Sam had the assist to Acosta and now leads the team in this catagory with 6. DC have beaten the visitors each and every time since 2014, a total of 5 games.

Ousmane Dembele has come over from Borussia Dortmun, expected Sunday to then undergo his physical Monday prior to being officially presented. Borussia received 105 mil Euros + now with Barca for 5 years with a 400 mil Euro pricetag on his buyout. This French winger is thought of as a top young player in the world due to his speed, being adaptive, and getting by his opponents. His previous club is Rennes, as he plays both sides of the field and is renowned for his dribbling skills.

Carnoy, is also the Division Director for the North East with US Trust & Bank of America where her positions include Market President for NYC and Corporate Social Responsibility in NYC. Her gaining this position with US Soccer was met without any opposition. She is also the Co-Chair of the Board at Columbia and a board member at United Way. Very active with women in banking, she is fully independant in her new role.
