Catching up with the Red Bulls

By Sean McCaffery, September 5, 2018

The FIFA International Break is upon us with the Boys in Red leading the league & are the only team thus far to have assured themselves a spot in the 2018 Audi MLS Playoffs. All they need to do is go 2-7 over the rest of the season to achive a new win total, it is pretty much assured they will do so. Sun. Sept. 16 they travel down to Audi Field, the new home of DC United, we are fully expecting to go there as well.

In this September window there are many local international games including at RBA with Kemar Lawrence and Jamaica facing the always popular Ecuador. In these same games NYRB will have 9 players representing them on behalf of various nations as listed below.

USMNT: Tyler Adams, Tim Parker and Aaron Long. Tyler and Aaron of course came up through the RBNY system asĀ  Parker is out of Hicksville LI & St. John's.

Jamaica: Kemar Lawrence, Taxi will add to his thousands of minutes with his home country.

Panama: Fidel Escobar & Michael Amir Murillo look to build upon their great showings in the FIFA World Cup.

Haiti: Derrick Etienne Jr., this 2nd generation Bull continues to get call ups internationally.

Guatemala: Allen Yannes from NYRBII to internatioinal duty not too bad.
