The Long Island Junior Soccer League was honored at halftime of the Red Bull LA Galaxy game this past weekend where, ironically, Edson Buttle a former LIJSL player scored the only game of the match to help the LA Galaxy to a 1-0 victory.

In addition to having a number of celebrities watching the Red Bulls' Thierry Henry play, there were soccer legends and Hall of Famers their to catch the action.  Tab Ramos and Jeff Agoos were on the sidelines rather than on the field for the US National team where they spent so much time together.  they are both native New Jersey boys.
