A pair of goals from forwards Bledi Bardic and Wojciech Wojcik led hosts New York Cosmos B to remain undefeated and perfect after three matches during the 2018 National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) Season by posting a 6:1 victory over North Atlantic Conference rival Greater Lowell NPSL FC at Rocco Commisso Stadium in the athletic campus of Columbia University on Sunday.
Cosmos B (3-0-0, 9 Points), who are currently in first place in North Atlantic Conference of NPSL’s North Region, got the scoring spree going with Bardics' first of two tallies in the ninth minute of play.
After defender Chris Wingert made it 2:0 at the 29th minute-mark, Wojcik had his first (of two) four minutes before the intermission.
Greater Lowell (1-1-0, 3 Points), who was coming off a 5:1 win over Kingston Stockade FC less than 24 hours prior, was able to get on the board two minutes into the second half with a tally from forward Jamar Campion-Hinds.
However, Cosmos B continued pour in the goals against Greater Lowell as Wojck and Bardic scored in the 52nd and 61st, respectively, to increase the lead to 5:1.
Forward Reece Dalton, who came in as substitute for Bardic in the 73rd minute, closed out the scoring netting the Cosmos B’s sixth goal with four minutes remaining.
Cosmos B will look to remain atop of the North Atlantic Conference when they visit TSF FC at Fairleigh Dickinson University on May 24.
