Gotham FC to host LGBTQIA+ Kickabout on Sunday, April 28

As a part of Lesbian Visibility Week, fans have the opportunity to join a global initiative to (unofficially) break a world record

HARRISON, NJ (Friday, April 25, 2024) – NJ/NY Gotham FC will recognize the power of bringing communities together. The club has joined forces with global initiative The Big Kickabout during Lesbian Visibility Week to be part of (unofficially) breaking the world record for the biggest collection of those who identify as LGBTQIA+, non-binary, and allies kicking a soccer ball around on Sunday, April 28.

While taking a stand for inclusion in sports, Gotham FC will host a kickabout at Red Bull Arena as a part of pregame festivities from 3-3:30 p.m. ET ahead of the club’s match against Racing Louisville at 5 p.m. ET.

Leaning into the mantra of “unified, not uniform,” The Big Kickabout celebrates the power of sisterhood by uplifting incredible LGBTQIA+ women and non-binary people from every generation, in every field, and in every country around the world.
