Following up on announcing Sir Alex Ferguson as the Honorary All-American, Manchester United enhanced its presence at the Convention by providing Tony Strudwick as a clinician. Strudwick's appearance at the NSCAA Convention is sponsored by Kevin Grogan Soccer and MUSCUSA Sport Ventures.

Strudwick is Manchester United's head of athletic development, overseeing the club's youth fitness. Strudwick began his football career as a player with Colchester United, before moving into coaching. He had previously worked with Coventry City, West Ham United, and The Football Association before being appointed as manager of Blackburn Rovers in 2004.

Strudwick was at Blackburn for three seasons, before Manchester United approached him in 2007 as a replacement for their outgoing fitness coach. He moved into his current position with Manchester United in September 2014.

At the Convention, Strudwick will present "Long Term Athletic Development" in a lecture session on January 17 at 9:30 a.m.
