NCFC U-23 Alex Comisa Signs with First Team

A local college player @ UNC, and he is now a pro having gotten the offer on the strength of his preseason play. HC Dave Sarachan informed "I knew about Alex when I first came on board. I knew he had a greeat career at UNC. He's ceetainly a great example of a guy who has put in the work." He had over 80 games while at UNC, playing a big role in their advancing to the College Cup in 2016 &'17. His senior season capped a great career as he was named a First Team All- American, ACC Defensive Player of the Year & ACC Scholar Athlete of the Year. His 3 years with the NCFC U-23's made him very familar to those within the team and it's culture, he was a main player there and is one of many to now be in the pro leagues. In his earlier days, he was in the Vancouver Whitecaps residency program and various levels of Canadas national teams. Among his accompishments at the youth level include a bronze in the 2013 Concacaf U-17 Championships, U-17 World Cup in 2013 & 9 games with the U-20's.
