Josh Sims has had his loan with NYRB renewed by Premier League side Southampton through June 30 and an option to extend. At just 22, Sims is the age of those drafted into MLS and brings far more experience out of England, yet still qualifies as a Young Designated Player.

Denis Hamlett, Red Bulls Sporting Director informed "We are pleased to reach an agreement to bring Josh back to New York. We're excited to see how Josh can build upon his time with us last year."

What a long strange trip it has beeen for Leonard Owusu from his town of  Accra and their team Dreams FC, to the mid east and the Israeli Premier League's FC Ashdod, now for Canada and the MLS with Vancouver. A quick 2 year term with Ashdod then off to MLS has yet another from Ghana playing in the league. The central midfielder was signed via TAM  for a contract of 2 years and an option of one.

Friday during their convention, United Soccr Coaches made it known that there is a new person on their Board of Directors, and has been appointed for the next 6 years, with the position of VP for the  four of these years, then one as President and the last as Immediate Past President.

Rusty stated " I'm truly honored to be the next Vice President of United Soccer Coaches. I'm looking forward to what the future holds for United Soccer Coaches and am excited for the opportunity to serve the membership."

From Bogota FC in Colombia to the Pacific Northwest, I hope Dajome packed his parka. The 26 year old midfielder and wing player was part of the 2019 Copa Sudamericana while on loan to Edcuadorian Serie A Independiente del Valle in Nov., tying for first place in goals scored for his team in the tourney with 4 goals over 11 games. He has a two year deal with an option for 2022.

While in Ecuador Cristian had 9 goals and 4 assists over 39 games in 2019. In his Colombia, from 2013-'19 he had 207 games and hit for 36 goals overall.

Mauricio Pineda has inked a deal with the Fire via a Homegrown Player contract, and is signed for this season, with team options for the next trio of years.

HC Raphael Wicky informed "We're very happy that Mauricio has decided to return to Chicago to begin his professional career. He has all the abilities necessary to become an impactful player. I'm looking forward to working with Mauricio to help him reach his potential."
