NYRB add Yearwood from Brentford FC

The 20 year old midfield player is to be finalized Aug. 12 when the next FIFA window opens, once he passes his medical and gets the paperwork done, he will take up an international roster spot as a Young DP.

Kevin Thelwell Head of Sport told " On behalf of everyone at the club, I'd like to welcome Dru. Dru is a talented young player that already has a good amount of senior team appearances, We look forward to Dru joining us." 

Dru was just shy of decade in the youth program at Southend when he had his first call up to the first team in 2017 @ 17. He is from Harlow England, and had his debut in the English Football League One Cup, Aug. 8, 2017 facing Newport County, getting his league game Sept. 2 with Rochdale. 

Long Island Soccer Player Hall of Fame member and NYRB HC, Chris Armas stated "Dru is a young, exciting central midfielder, a true competitor and ball-winner. He's also an intelligent player, Dru is enthusiastic about the opportunity."

Overall he has 61 games for United over 2 yearsm in 2018, he was brought in by the u-18' of England. After that he was with EFL Championship side Brentford FC getting 5 games with the Bees.

The player informed "I'm very excited to join th New York Red BUlls. I can't wait to get started and meet all my new teammates and some new fans, too, hopefully in the near future."
