Paul Riley has the Courage Back in Camp

By Sean McCaffery, March 4, 2019

Not here to defend a title, so much as to win another, the 2018 NWSL champs are back at it under the tutelege of Long Island Legend, Paul Riley. Almost 40 players are expected with no less than 10 not yet in camp due to Natioinal Team commitments, we hope to see all of those tomorrow facing tammate Debinha. Our friend, Shannon Horgan who had us out to a few of her events and a training session that left me exhausted is in camp for her former youth coach as non roster invitee, she should have no issues with any of the fitness work whatsoever. Another local, Crystal Dunn is of course in the midst of the SheBelieves Cup with the USWNT along with the MVP of the NWSL final Jessica McDonald who was featured on her own calendar with Women of Soccer.  Merritt Mathis who we met at a clinic on Long Island this winter if of course back again. Joining fan favs Jessica MeDonald, McCall Zerboni & Heather O'Reilly are additions, Stephanie Labbe, with Ally Haran.  Those drafted in Chicago in camp are Leah Pruitt, Hailey Harbison, Lauren Millet & Kaycie  Tillman. Beginning Apr. 13, they will host the Red Stars plus 5 more games set off by a games Orlando on Mar 23 @1p.m., part of a double header with Mexican giant Nexaca at 4p.m.
