USSF Kicks off "Bend the Curve, Stay at Home" effort

By way of this new initiative, the USSF will bring home vital information related to the battle with the Coronavirus crisis. To back and reiterate the guidance coming out of the medical field to defeat this virus, USSF has begun their campaign. Filled with soccer oriented material, it brings in the love, focus and stedfastness of their community in assiting the growing the reality of this simple act, Stay Home.

Dr. George Chiampas, USSF CMO explained, "Our goal with our "Bend The Curve. Stay At Home" campaign is to reinforce to the soccer community that the single most important messge to help us get through these challenging times is to make sure people STAY AT HOME to bend, and eventually flatten the curve of COVID-19 cases."

To give more impact to this thrust, the USSF will put out graphics and video highlights of key goals and free kicks via all of their platforms. They will link up with key stakeholders throughout the soccer community, not limited to present and ex players to ramp up the jist of this and send home the true definition of One Nation. One Team.

Things that are being done within this have been ongoing and will continue including:

-Classic games of the USNTs & Lamar Hunt US Open Cup games, we have shared a great many of them on the Facebok of #SoccerLongIslandMagazine as well as those of member teams and leagues.

-Free Professional Development lectures from HIgh Performance experts.

-Skills exercise that may be done at home

-Trivia quizzes on US Soccer history.
