What to Expect of the Loons & OCSC

By Sean McCaffery, August 6, 2020

A lot of intrigue here as Adrian Heath is back for the MIB in Orlando but facing them. Both sides newer to MLS are still seeking their first tophy in the league.

As for Orlando, they have been having an unexpected turn in these games, even their last game they overcame a top team in LAFC in PK's who just last year took the Supporter's Shield while setting the new mark for points in league lore. From Dallas FC to here, Oscar Pareja again proves his worth as he has seemingly been able to get all to go all in with his style and philosophies in the game in limited time. They may be a team to beat in the regular season, said to kickoff soon as the offense has worked well together and the defense has solidified.

The Loons flew into town at the start of these games and have been showing their feathers in a big way. He uses the fact that they are often thought of as the underdog to their advantage big time and they are soaring into this game. They have been able to take early leads once in the knockout round, far better than chasing the game. They also went to PK's in their most recent game, facing the 'Quakes but the prior one had them get a pair one at 20' & another at 21' as they took the game 4-1.

We will be posting video from both team's victories that got them here from the quaters on the Facebook of #SoccerLongIslandMagazine.
