Whitecaps and 5th Annual #Buckup Mental Health Fundraising Effort

The goal this go 'round is $100,000 for the local Covenant House Vancouver. This is intended to benefit homless at-risk youth and the teams started the fund off with a $25,000 donaton of their own. This campaign has since 2014 raised over $160,000 for mental health initiatives for these youth and the 'Caps themselves have ponied up over $240,000 since 2012.

How to support this cause?

1. Raffle 1,600 tickets at just $20 each or 3 for $50 with 2 grand prizes. Round trip  a pair of seats anywhere WestJet goes and a suite at a 'Caps game.

2. Auction, one of a kind money can't buy experieicnes and items like signed team merch., a BC Palace roof tour, coaching by "Caps legend Carl Valentine, a jersey signed by Chris Hemsworth and            other team items.

3. Donate at the game on Saturday June 9 for gifts including  a pair of 2018 season tickets.

Team president and another team legend, Bob Lenarduzzi " A few dollars may not seem like much, but when we all come together for this worthwhile cause we can make a big difference in the lives of some of the most vulnerable youth in our community.

Jennifer Hall, development officer at Covenant House Vancouver added, "The suppor we receive through the #BuckUP for Mental Health campaing enables us to provide the kinds of mental health support that our youth need to really become the best that they can be."
