Given it was all but an hour after the 4' Red to Maxime Chanot until the Crew got their goal, the team's description of it being a "stubborn but ultimatley fruitless afternoon" is utter nonesense. This game, the struggle to stay even, the fight to come back will serve them well throughout the year. They will be able to draw upon this for many games in the future, as a reference point of what they are in fact able to do. On a good note, USMNT GK Sean Johnson had his 100th game as a member of NYCFC in MLS play, congrats and welcome to the century club.
