David Diosa is back in the fold with the Green-and-White. Earlier this week, the NY Cosmos made it known that they had reacquired their 5 year mainstay who started with their academy in 2010,  netting their first goal to then join the first team in the first year of the reboot era, 2013.  David stated, "I'm really happy to return home and play for the club. I'm excited to play again for the most historic team in the U.S." He had played a myriad of positions for the team during his tenure, getting his first game in 2013 facing Atlanta as a sub in a 1-0 win.

Chicagoland fans will get a double treat as the Fire first face the Rapids at noon CT followed by the 2:30 kick of the Red Stars and Thorns, marking the 4th year these 2 have played a double header together. All Fire tix come with a Red Stars ducat. Those making use of the pub to pitch bus program are also able to avail themselves to the pair of games, but you must RSVP on it by April 17.

Yes, the broadcast partner for NYCFC will broadcast almost 2 dozen games the team announced for the upcoming regualr season. Opening with the opening game facing MLS Champions, Atlanta United. Each of these games will also be live streamed on the Fox Sports Go app at 8p.m. Joe Tolleson and Ian Joy are back for their 5th year of play-by-play & analyst work, as our frined Janusz Michallik is back as well for game analysis. The Feb. 22 preseason match with Nashville will be live as well on YES and streamed.

No, not his father of the ES National Team of the 80's but Junior Burgos, father Efrain has retired, however they play the same position. Junior informed "I'm excited and motivated for a new challenge, especially with such a prestigious and historic organizatioin like the New York Cosmos." At 30 he is in his playing prime and is fully expected to lend a creative touch to the team bringing with him his reputation as a restart specialist, one of which lead to the 2015 NASL Goal of the Year. His pro career began with Toronto FC then to the Atlanta SIlverbacks. His first time with Atl.
